Thanksgiving-post

Thanksgiving

I just love the holiday season! There are so many wonderful traditions and activities that we can either start with our growing families or continue from our childhood.

I absolutely love that we have the day to spend with our families. There’s nothing better than cooking, laughing, and enjoying the time we have together as a family. Okay, Okay, so I don’t partake in the whole “cooking” part. Lol! 😉

When it comes to Thanksgiving, I can’t think of a better time to start teaching your toddlers and children about gratitude. We are surrounded by beauty, from the time we wake up, and we should celebrate and express how grateful we are for these things with our kids.

Some fun projects to do with the kids is making a gratitude jar. Everyday, ask your toddler and kids what they’re grateful for. Depending on their age, you may have to help them think about it and that’s okay. Write it on a piece of paper and place it in the jar. This also makes a wonderful centerpiece for your Thanksgiving Day table.

I want to take a moment and wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! I hope everyone enjoys the holiday spent with family and loved ones!!
